Our stay was May 26-29 of 2023. We had a lovely apartment which included a balcony with a breathtaking view of the sea including spectacular sunsets. The owners were extremely organized and had all their expectations written down, so there were no surprises.

The apartment is accessed only via a stairway that did require some extra muscle to climb as some of the steps were rather high. For this reason, I would caution someone with mobility issues to consider this before booking here.

The kitchen was well equipped with dishes, pans and utensils and our hosts had also included a basket of pastries and local condiments that we very much enjoyed. The bathroom was also quite lovely and extremely clean and plenty of towels were available.

Even before our arrival, the staff was wonderful communicating with us on WhatsApp, sending a map how to get to the apartment from the station etc. When we reached the place, two ladies were waiting for us and helped us carry the luggage up the stairs. Upstairs, we were greeted by unexpected welcome gifts - a bottle of really good wine and a basket of food products typical for the area.
Throughout the stay, Maurizio kept making sure we had everything we needed. It was also no problem to have them book a taxi for our early morning departure.
The bed was big and very comfortable, the room was modern and equipped with everything we needed.
I left the best for last - the balcony and the view. It was unreal! Every single sunset and sunrise was amazing, people on the nearby terrace were crowding to see the kind of view that we could leisurely watch from our balcony.

Sehr schönes und kleines Appartement. Tolle Lage direkt in den Altstadt und alles ist vor der Tür.

L´appartamento Santa Maria, nel quale abbiamo soggiornato, é completamente ristrutturato, comodo e ben attrezzato. Maurizio e Marcella sono 2 hosts molto attenti ai bisogni dei loro ospiti, che in alcuni casi, addirittura anticipano. Durante il nostro soggiorno sono stati molto gentili e disponibili. Abbiamo soggiornato nella splendida casa con vista mozzafiato sul mare di Tropea. La casa è curata nei minimi dettagli con tutto ciò che occorre per trascorrere serenamente la vacanza. Our stay here was nothing short of magical. We had the room with the sea view and it was absolutely stunning. The room had everything we needed, extremely clean and the bed was so comfortable! The owner Maurizio was always readily available by phone and so helpful. He also suggested a great place to park close by. The location is close to everything, the heart of the town and the beach! Das Appartement ist top gelegen mit einer fantastischen Aussicht aufs Meer und Kirche. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat alles was man braucht. Beautiful Apartment
Beautiful Apartment set in a fabulous location of Tropea.The host Maurice was amazing and always on hand to advise and help. The Apartment was wonderfully clean with a fully working kitchen and an amazing shower. The bed was very comfortable. Le Tolde del Corallone was the perfect hidden gem!
Randomly stumbled across the idea of a stay in Tropea and from previous reviews chose Le Tolde Corallone through Booking.comWe got there and were a little nervous as the station seemed to be at the too of the hill. But no worries! Maurizio had been in touch with me from weeks before and organized for someone to pick us up. We arrived and were taken to their suite with a balcony with the most epic view! His daughter met us and whatever we couldn’t understand was solved by Google translate lol The apartment was stunning! A beautiful mix of seaside decor and absolutely modern amenities including an espresso maker.  Fantastic hot showers, a kitchen I made use of with goods from local shops and the comfiest bed! The huge tv greeted me with my name and features a menu of tours and restaurants you can enjoy with discounts if you indicate you are staying at this location. We spent every evening after sining in the town with a bottle of local Ciro wine enjoying the most spectacular view of the famous chapel. The view is stunning from dawn to nighttime. The apt is also right by stairs heading down to the beach, right by the town centre and shoos and restaurants and just wonderfully centrally located.I cannot sing the praises of this place enough as it started a memorable 5 week journey for me across Italy at a standard which was hard to beat. My only note would be to say is that if you have a problem with stairs this amazing apartment may not be for you as there are quite a few and they are deep and may not be for everyone.The attention paid to guests and their every need however is probably the jewel in the crown of an already stellar property.Go to their instagram page to see options. L’accoglienza di Maurizio è stata molto calorosa , ci ha regalato un weekend mozzafiato che non dimenticheremo facilmente per quella meravigliosa finestra che si apre sul mare di Tropea.. e che tramonto! Super Location overlooking Tropea Beach
My friend and I were very comfortable in this apartment, it is like a studio apartment with a beautiful balcony overlooking tropea beach and the santuario.  Modern renovation, little kitchenette also available and just a few metres away from the steps to go down to the beach. La prima parola di ringraziamento va al gentilissimo sign.Maurizio che ha offerto la sua professionalità per consigli ed informazioni.Ottime le escursioni prenotate con lui .Unica pecca la mancanza di navetta dal porto tornati la sera dal tour Eolie. Le foto non rendono giustizia al valore aggiunto di queste 2 camere, una a picco sul mare e l altra fronte città.La nostra camera aveva tutto ciò che serviva per cucinare e riposare: un buon uso di spazi, pratici ed essenziali.La stanza apriva con la tessera elettrica ma il condizionatore poteva essere lasciato acceso anche senza!Pulizie ottime seppur una volta a settimana ma con un mare senza sabbia, difficile si sporcasse!TV con suggerimenti su cosa fare in città e dintorni e con possibilità di sconti.Al nostro arrivo, Maurizio ci ha fatto trovare posto auto e una bottiglia di vino locale in frigo, cialde per macchinetta di caffè ecc ecc, sempre disponibile e presente, si poteva chiedere di tutto.Consigliatissimo

I have nothing but amazing things to say about our stay. Maurizio was an excellent host. Responsive, helpful and knowledgeable about all the local places. His daughter checked us in and was also helpful. The place is beautiful! The view speaks for itself and the location is prime. Near the beaches, city center and restaurants. Best location in town. Nestled in the cliff overlooking central Tropea beaches and the iconic rock/church. Also steps away from the stairs down to the beach and all the restaurants. Parking is off site but free and a short walk. The host was super responsive and helpful. They left some goodies and wine for us to enjoy on the balcony with amazing views. Roomy place though the bathroom is a little tight and please note very steep stone stairs to ascend and enter the unit. Might be difficult for someone with health issues. Mauricio was exceptionally helpful with our questions, and the place was well-kept, clean and in a great location close to the beach and shops. We’ll definitely stay there again next time we are in Tropea!
